  1. I saw the video- it was rather entertaining. I definitely refer to you for knife steel stats and testing results; but I think your wife did a really good job of adding interest and “pop” to the content- at least in this case. I wouldn’t mind seeing more about the trip portion- and with more information on some of the costs (in US dollars) so viewers (or at least for myself) could get a better idea of whether we could also do this.

    Though you picked a zdp-189 knife, did you notice their gin3 (AEB-H?) stainless hand forging knives?

    They “traditionally” seem to heat treat the gin3 stainless with same old naked eye standard, do you think it’s possible to improve the heat treatment using the traditional forging hand craftsmanship/tool there to achieve better toughness and stainless property ?

    1. It is possible to improve the heat treatment by switching to controlled furnaces but not the other way around.

  3. On a side note, will high quality AI be able to assist your thinking, once you decide what “best” is situationally?
